EUROPEAN LAMSON WARRANTY

Flyfish Europe AS (FFE), as the authorized European distributor of Waterworks-Lamson products, provides the commercial warranty for Waterworks-Lamson products sold in Europe.

Lamson rods and reels are covered by a commercial warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the reasonable useful service life of the product.

The commercial warranty applies to products purchased through an authorized European dealer.

WHAT IS COVERED?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship confirmed by FFE following inspection.

Where a covered defect is confirmed, FFE may repair the product or replace the affected component or product, as appropriate.

Replacement parts may differ in color, finish or specification where the original component is no longer available.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
The warranty does not cover:
• normal wear and tear;
• accidental damage;
• misuse or abuse;
• improper maintenance, cleaning or storage;
• damage caused by corrosion resulting from inadequate care or maintenance;
• unauthorised modifications or repairs where they have caused or contributed to the reported problem or prevent reasonable assessment or repair; or
• cosmetic deterioration does not affect functionality.

REELS
For reel warranty service, the complete reel, including frame and spool, should normally be returned so that the product can be properly inspected and serviced.

The fishing line should preferably be removed before return.

RODS
For rod warranty service, all sections of the rod should normally be returned so that the complete rod can be inspected.

STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, any mandatory statutory consumer rights applicable under national law.
