While the bottle and cap are generally considered dishwasher safe, it’s still best to hand wash your bottle using a mild detergent and allow it to rack dry between uses.
Your Smith Creek vacuum flask should never be placed in the freezer. If you want to keep your beverages cold longer, add a little ice when you first fill your bottle. Never place the bottle in a microwave oven.
Smith Creek’s vacuum flask is made from 304 steel with a powder coated finish. Powder coating has good resistance to everyday wear and tear; however, it still can be damaged if for example it is dropped onto, or dragged across a rocky surface. Minor scratches and scuffs will not impact the container’s insulation performance.
